How to use the NEW share content from camera in Teams!

Image1.png

When you’re going into a new Teams meeting and you want to share something for the audience, you’ll find a new section at the bottom - Content from camera. And as the little text says, you can: share a whiteboard, a document and more. Let’s dive into it.

There are 3 sections here, Whiteboard, Document and Video.

First whiteboard. You can use your own webcamera, if you have an external camera, that would be better. You just scan your whiteboard area and then share it. It is that simple. You can overlay the presenter, you can detect edges and you can also rotate your image if needed.

Document sharing is pretty much the same, just point and show what you have created with your non-digital pen.

And the last content type: Video. You can share your own webcam feed, or your OBS feed. Your choice.

Here is a printscreen of the OBS feed.

And all of those 3 sections. You can overlay presenter, detect edges and even rotate the picture if needed.

Now that you have your own digital whiteboard for non-digital material, it opens up numerous possibilities for teaching.
