Teams updates in March 2022
The Teams update blog is here again. Let’s dive in straight away.
This Video filter update lets you change your lighting and do some facial smooth out.
This is a highly waited update You can finally invite external users to your Teams meetings when you’re using Whiteboard. But remember, after the meeting, external users lose the access to the Whiteboard.
This locking update will prevent users from accidently moving or deleting content.
You can finally like someone’s sticky notes, and other users can see that someone has liked that sticky note.
Microsoft Teams Connect, you can finally invite external users to your own Teams. (I’ve already done a blog post about this, feel free to read it.)
Topics are important, so that users can easily find what they are looking for.
Admins can set more limited Bandwidth controls for when users travel a lot.
This is a highly waited update also. You can finally give organizer role to someone else within your own organization.
This is a preview update about controlling your answer, end and hold functions in Teams.
Admins, remember to check that your meeting recordings doesn’t auto-expire.
With this update you can stream your Live Events, for example to YouTube, etc.
This update helps a lot. You can add or edit transcript for a video in SharePoint or OneDrive.
Remember, you have your personal time too.
Automation is the key.
If you have a long Microsoft Stream video, with this update you can add chapters in it.
Your co-workers can see your LinkedIn status in your profile if you use this update.
Filters help to categorise chats when you are looking for something.
