Breakout rooms updates in September 2021

Two updates are coming in September into Breakout rooms (Printscreens below.) Breakout Room Presenter support and Breakout Room pre-meeting room creation and participant assigment.

So what are these two updates? First, the Presenter support. There you can extend the management of rooms to a specific presenter, so you don’t have to manage all the rooms yourself. The second one is Breakout room pre-meeting room creation and participant assigment. Basically when you are creating a normal meeting and you have all the signups done, then you just go into your calendar and find your meeting. Then you have a Breakout rooms tab there, and you just make your rooms ready and fill them with people who are coming into that meeting. Easy as that. I’ll add a few screenshots below so you can see the operation in action.

These updates are very much expected. But we have to wait just a little while longer before we can finally make Breakout Rooms before the actual meetings.
