Copilot Agents have arrived in SharePoint!

Many days and nights we have waited for this feature to arrive in SharePoint, and finally it’s here. This short blog post is basically about how to use this feature.

First, of course, go to SharePoint, and if you see the button “Create a Copilot agent” then you are good to go.

This is the end result of what you are trying to do, but let’s go through the whole process. First, of course, choose your files and then click “Create a Copilot agent”.

Then a new window appears. Let’s edit the Identity section first.
- Name, logo, description and on the right side you can test your Agent.

Next we choose our Sources. You can add a SharePoint site, you can add document libraries, folders or files. Copilot Studio is not working yet.

Workflows, etc. are coming…

Next is behaviour.
Welcome message, starter prompts and instructions.

You can, of course, Share and edit your Copilot agent.

And after you click on the drop-down menu, you can see your Copilots (notice that your Team will also get a Copilot). You can also come back to your Chat history or delete that.

All in all, this looks very cool and after I have used it for an hour, I’m very happy with how this works
